Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Mine Motor Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and operation of motors and related mechanical equipment used in mining operations. Your expertise will ensure high efficiency and safety in our mining processes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the performance of motors and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Assist in the development of maintenance schedules for mine equipment.
• Prepare reports on maintenance activities and motor performance.
• Train junior staff on motor maintenance practices and safety protocols.
• Utilise CAD software to design improvements for motor systems.
• Participate in safety audits and ensure compliance with health regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in relevant engineering roles.

Technical Skills

• CAD Software
• Regulatory Compliance

• Hands-on maintenance experience with motor-driven equipment: Practical skills in maintaining mining equipment such as conveyors or crushers.
