Job Description

As a Lathing Supervisor, you will oversee the lathing process in a manufacturing or construction setting. Your role will involve managing a team of workers, ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards while completing projects within the set timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage the work schedules of lathing personnel.
  • Evaluate project complexities and devise strategies for successful execution.
  • Ensure all team members are aware of safety procedures and regulations.
  • Oversee the procurement and maintenance of lathing equipment.
  • Collaborate with suppliers for material delivery and quality checks.
  • Prepare reports on production rates and material usage.
  • Conduct team meetings to discuss productivity and challenges.
  • Adapt to changing project needs and priorities proactively.

Requirements

Education
  • Vocational qualification in a relevant field is preferred
Experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in lathing and supervisory roles.
