Job Description

As a Deck Officer, you will oversee navigational operations aboard our vessels, ensuring compliance with maritime regulations and the safety of all onboard. This role involves working closely with the captain and crew to maintain the ship's course and respond effectively to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Assist the captain in navigating the ship and maintaining the vessel's course.
• Monitor navigational and communication systems.
• Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and safety procedures.
• Supervise junior deck crew members and provide training.
• Handle loading and unloading operations safely.
• Inspect safety equipment and conduct routine checks.
• Prepare navigational charts and maintain accurate logbooks.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate crew actions.
• Collaborate for effective ship operations across departments.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nautical Science or related field
• Additional specialized training or certifications preferred

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in maritime operations.
