Job Description

We're seeking a passionate Community Outreach Coordinator to join our Birmingham team. This role involves developing and implementing outreach strategies to engage local communities, build partnerships, and promote our initiatives. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about community engagement and have strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate outreach events and activities to engage community members.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and programme outcomes.
  • Present outreach plans and results to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Drive strategic initiatives to enhance community awareness and involvement.
  • Cultivate partnerships with local businesses and service providers.
  • Assist in the creation of promotional and educational content.
  • Support the planning and execution of fundraising activities.
  • Respond to community inquiries and provide information on services.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Master's degree in Community Development or equivalent is preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in non-profit or community outreach roles
