Upholstery Trimmer

Job Description

The Upholstery Trimmer will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and sewing fabric to create covers for furniture, ensuring that each product meets our high-quality standards. This role involves working closely with upholsterers and other members of the production team to deliver flawless finishes.

Responsibilities

• Cut and shape fabrics to create custom furniture covers.
• Operate and maintain sewing machines and tools.
• Inspect finished products to ensure conformity with customer specifications.
• Work closely with the design team to implement new styles.
• Document processes and update tracking systems.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements.
• Ensure timely delivery of products to the assembly team.
• Adapt to various materials and techniques as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant vocational training in upholstery is preferred.

Experience

• 1-3 years experience in a similar role is desirable.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in bespoke furniture production: Hands-on experience with custom or bespoke furniture production is preferred.
