Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Auditor to join our team in Edinburgh. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in reviewing financial records and ensuring compliance with regulations. You will work closely with clients to assess financial practices and provide comprehensive reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed audits to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Analyze financial data and identify trends or discrepancies.
• Prepare and present audit reports to management and clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding their financial practices.
• Assist in the development of audit methodologies.
• Contribute to the improvement of audit processes.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss audit strategy.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct.
• Document all audit activities in compliance with standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Master’s degree in Finance is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years in auditing roles, preferably in a public accounting firm.
