We are seeking a detail-oriented Cybersecurity Auditor to join our team in Sunderland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and improving our cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive information and comply with regulations.
Responsibilities
Perform audits on network security, data protection, and user access controls.
Identify weaknesses in security systems and recommend improvements.
Develop auditing tools and techniques to enhance review processes.
Work with cross-functional teams to implement security improvements.
Coordinate with external auditors as needed.
Oversee compliance with GDPR and other relevant regulations.
Document all audit findings and present to stakeholders.
Support the incident response team in investigating breaches.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or similar
Relevant certifications like CISA or CISSP are preferred
Experience
3 years of cybersecurity experience, with at least 2 years in auditing
