Job Description

As a Bulk Delivery Driver at Logistics Express Ltd., you will play a vital role in our operations by safely and efficiently transporting bulk goods to various locations. You will need to demonstrate excellent driving skills alongside adherence to safety regulations and a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate bulk delivery vehicles to transport goods according to the delivery schedule.
• Ensure all goods are loaded securely and transported safely.
• Plan and execute optimal delivery routes, considering current traffic conditions.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with all driving regulations and internal safety policies.
• Keep the delivery vehicle in good working condition through regular checks and maintenance.
• Address customers’ questions and concerns regarding deliveries effectively.
• Work closely with operations staff to enhance delivery processes.
• Drive with attention to detail, ensuring all delivery protocols are followed.

Requirements

Education

• Good level of literacy and numeracy preferred

Experience

• Experience in the transport and logistics industry is a plus

Technical Skills

• Forklift truck license
• Electronic logging devices

Soft Skills

• Organisational skills
• Teamwork

Advantageous

• ADR certification: Certification for the transportation of dangerous goods.
• Previous experience in bulk delivery: Experience in a similar role will benefit process efficiency.
