Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a talented Mechanical Engineer to enhance our engineering team in Nottingham. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, prototype, and testing of mechanical systems, contributing to our mission of delivering innovative engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate mechanical designs using CAD software.
• Work within project timelines and budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
• Collaborate with electrical and software engineers on multidisciplinary projects.
• Evaluate and select appropriate materials for mechanical components.
• Conduct performance testing and troubleshooting for mechanical systems.
• Provide support during the manufacturing process and resolve any production issues.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment

• Chartered Engineer status (CEng)
