Job Description

As an Industrial Machinery Mechanic, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive tests on engines to ensure optimal performance before they are deployed in various applications. A solid understanding of engine mechanics is essential, alongside strong troubleshooting abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the testing procedures and ensure engines are tested according to rigorous standards.
  • Assist in the development of testing protocols for new engine models.
  • Keep detailed logs of test results and maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with design engineers to provide feedback on engine performance.
  • Implement preventative maintenance practices to ensure all equipment is in top condition.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior mechanics in engine diagnostics.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools effectively to assess engine performance.
  • Ensure the workspace is clean, organized, and safe.

Requirements

Education
  • Technical Qualification in Mechanical Engineering
  • Degree in Automotive Engineering is advantageous
Experience
  • Experience working with heavy machinery or diesel engines is a plus.
