Job Description

We are seeking a detailed-oriented Legal Researcher to join our Edinburgh office. The successful candidate will undertake comprehensive legal research, analyse complex legal issues, and assist in formulating sound legal strategies. A strong understanding of legal principles and excellent analytical skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research using various databases and resources.
  • Summarise findings and present them in a clear, concise manner.
  • Work closely with the legal team to support case strategies.
  • Keep abreast of evolving legal standards and practices.
  • Assist in the drafting and review of contracts and agreements.
  • Provide insights on legal precedent and its implications.
  • Engage in discussions regarding legal challenges and solutions.
  • Support the onboarding of new legal technologies and tools.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Law or related discipline
  • Master's degree is advantageous

  • 2+ years of experience in a law firm or legal department
