Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced City Comptroller to join our finance team. Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate the financial operations of the City.

• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Engage with community stakeholders to communicate financial strategies.
• Implement systems for improving efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Support departmental budgeting processes across various sectors.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA, or CPA
• Master's degree in Finance or relevant discipline is preferred

Experience

• Demonstrated experience in budgeting and financial planning in a public sector context.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles
• Experience with financial software systems

• Ability to handle confidential information
• Time management and organizational skills

Languages

• English: Fluent
