Job Description

As a Personal Care Aide, you will play an integral role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. You will assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation while providing companionship and emotional support.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate daily living activities including meal preparation and feeding assistance.
  • Monitor residents' emotional and physical well-being and respond to their needs.
  • Assist with mobility and physical exercises as required.
  • Document care provided and any significant observations in care logs.
  • Foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere for residents and their families.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations within the care environment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal resident care.
  • Encourage residents to participate in social activities to maintain their independence.
  • Provide support during emergencies and ensure residents’ safety at all times.

Requirements

Education
  • NVQ Level 2 or higher in Health and Social Care
  • Experience with dementia care is advantageous
Experience
  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience.
