Job Description

As a Logistics Coordinator in Glasgow, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimising our logistics operations. You will be responsible for coordinating shipments, liaising with suppliers and customers, and ensuring that all deliveries are met on time. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a keen eye for detail, and be adept at problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day logistics operations ensuring a smooth-running supply chain.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers and transport companies.
  • Prepare shipping documents and ensure correct handling of all products.
  • Conduct inventory audits to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist in cost analysis and budgeting for logistics operations.
  • Utilise logistics software to track shipments and inventory levels.
  • Train and mentor junior logistics staff to ensure adherence to processes and practices.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing queries and resolving issues promptly.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Certification in Project Management is a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years in logistics or related management roles
