Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Freight Elevator Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating elevators used to transport goods and materials in various settings.

Responsibilities

• Operate elevators according to safety protocols and guidelines.
• Load and unload goods and materials from the elevator.
• Ensure proper placement and securement of freight.
• Monitor elevator operation and adjust settings to maintain efficiency.
• Perform daily checks and maintenance on the equipment.
• Coordinate with the warehouse team to optimize workflow.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with safety standards.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience as a freight elevator operator preferred.

Technical Skills

• Mechanical aptitude
• Forklift operation

Certifications

• Forklift certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
