Construction Labourer

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Construction Labourers to join our expanding team in Birmingham. The successful candidates will assist with a variety of construction tasks on-site, ensuring projects are completed safely and efficiently. Responsibilities

• Carry out manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items.
• Prepare sites for building work by digging trenches, cleaning, and setting up equipment.
• Monitor stock levels of materials and inform supervisors when supplies are low.
• Participate in site meetings and contribute to safety discussions.
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Previous experience in construction or labouring preferred but not required.

Technical Skills

• Physical stamina
• Tool operation skills

Certifications

• Health and Safety Certification (desirable)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment: Experience in physically demanding roles preferred.
• Forklift certification: Ability to operate forklifts or similar machinery.
