Job Description

As a Wooden Frame Builder, you will play a critical role in constructing wooden frames that meet precise specifications. Your expertise in woodworking techniques and your ability to interpret blueprints will be essential in ensuring top-quality results. You will collaborate with other skilled tradespeople to deliver bespoke solutions for a variety of projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the construction of wooden frames by ensuring that all elements conform to specifications.
  • Work collaboratively with architects and designers to adapt designs as needed.
  • Inspect final constructions to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Assist in procurement processes by selecting high-quality materials.
  • Support the planning and design phases of construction to streamline workflows.
  • Track the progress of projects and adjust schedules as necessary.
  • Engage with clients for feedback and adjustments during the construction process.
  • Utilize CAD software to assist in project planning when necessary.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements in processes and tools.
  • Maintain a focus on sustainability practices in material selection and construction methods.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in woodworking or carpentry is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in frame construction
