Job Description

As a Police Identification and Records Officer, you will be instrumental in identifying, classifying, and recording fingerprints, palm prints, and other biometric data. You will ensure the maintenance and retrieval of criminal records databases, playing a critical role in the justice system.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular audits of biometric data and systems.
  • Assist in training junior officers on fingerprint identification techniques.
  • Stay updated on advancements in forensic technology and methodologies.
  • Prepare detailed reports on findings for law enforcement
  • Participate in professional development and continuous training.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in a relevant field (forensic science, criminology)
  • Additional certification in biometric identification is an advantage.
Experience
  • Experience with biometric identification techniques preferred.
