Universal Grinder Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Universal Grinder Operator to join our dedicated manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining advanced grinding machines, ensuring precision in the production of critical components.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC grinding machines for precision part production.
• Follow technical drawings to produce parts that meet specifications.
• Conduct regular inspections and testing to maintain quality assurance.
• Collaborate with quality control to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and perform repairs or adjustments on grinding machines when necessary.
• Keep accurate records of production outputs and machine maintenance.
• Assist in training new operators on machine operations and safety standards.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss improvement strategies.
• Assist in developing more efficient work practices.
• Maintain a secure environment by adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant apprenticeship or vocational qualification in engineering or manufacturing is advantageous

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in operating grinding machines in a manufacturing environment.
