Job Description

As a Surveying and Mapping Technician, you will assist in delivering accurate survey data critical for construction projects. You will be involved in the collection and analysis of survey data, operating instruments, and collaborating with a skilled team to provide effective assessments.

Responsibilities

  • Record and document survey data using GIS and surveying software.
  • Prepare and maintain technical reports for review.
  • Perform inspections and calibrations on survey equipment.
  • Collaborate with engineers and architects to support project needs.
  • Keep up-to-date with health and safety regulations related to surveying.
  • Participate in regular training and skill enhancement programs.

Requirements

Education
  • GCSE or equivalent in Maths, English, and Science
  • BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Surveying or equivalent
Experience
  • No previous experience required, although some experience in surveying is preferable
Technical Skills
  • Surveying Instruments Operation
  • GIS Software Proficiency
  • AutoCAD Skills

Languages
  • English: Fluent
