Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Public Health Analyst to join our team in Leeds. This role involves analyzing health data, assessing community health needs, and developing strategies to enhance public health outcomes. You will play a key role in identifying health trends and collaborating with community partners to implement effective health programs.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research related to public health topics.
  • Provide guidance on best practices for data collection and management.
  • Serve as a liaison between the health department and community stakeholders.
  • Assist in policy formulation based on scientific evidence.
  • Prepare and present findings to public health officials and stakeholders.
  • Support the evaluation and improvement of existing health programmes.
  • Oversee specific public health projects and ensure they meet objectives.
  • Collaborate with external partners to enhance data sharing opportunities.
  • Integrate health equity considerations into public health analysis.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Epidemiology or Biostatistics is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree with relevant experience will also be considered
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in public health analysis or a related area
