Pediatric Neuropsychologist

Job Description

As a Pediatric Neuropsychologist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating children and young people with neurological conditions that affect cognitive, behavioural, and emotional functioning. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Administer and interpret a variety of neuropsychological tests.
• Offer therapeutic interventions tailored to individual needs.
• Collaborate closely with schools and other services involved in the child's care.
• Engage parents and guardians in treatment planning and progress discussions.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and clinic protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Doctoral degree in clinical psychology or neuropsychology

Experience

• 5+ years of experience working in pediatric neuropsychology.

Technical Skills

• Statistical Software
• Electronic Medical Records

Advantageous

• Training in cognitive behavioural therapy: Certification in CBT for children and young people.
• Experience in case management: Knowledge in managing patient care across multidisciplinary teams.
