Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Floorhand to join our offshore drilling team. In this role, you will assist in rigging up and down drilling equipment, ensuring that operations run smoothly and safely. Your contributions will be essential to the efficiency of our drilling operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup and breakdown of drilling rigs and equipment.
• Ensure equipment is operational and safe for use.
• Follow instructions from the Rig Manager and experienced crew members.
• Conduct general maintenance tasks around the rig site.
• Help in the storage and inventory management of supplies.
• Participate in maintenance and repair of tools and machinery.
• Work within a team-oriented environment, contributing to daily operations.
• Record data related to drilling operations as instructed.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist in emergency procedures if required.

Advantageous

• Experience working on offshore oil and gas platforms.: Prior hands-on experience in drilling operations is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as IWCF or RigPass.: Having these certifications will enhance your application.
