Job Description

We are seeking a talented Illustration and Concept Artist to join our dynamic team in Edinburgh. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their creativity and technical skills. You will be responsible for creating visual concepts that resonate with our audience and help bring our stories to life.

Responsibilities

• Illustrate characters and backgrounds that enhance the narrative.
• Engage in client meetings to discuss creative direction and feedback.
• Mentor and guide less experienced artists in artistic techniques and processes.
• Ensure all artwork meets the studio's quality standards and deadlines.
• Create compelling visual storytelling that draws the viewer in.
• Assist in the development of art styles and visual themes for projects.
• Document creative processes and techniques applied during production.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Animation, Fine Arts, or a related field
• Master's degree in Animation or Visual Arts is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience as a concept artist or illustrator

Technical Skills

• Character Design

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in VR/AR content creation: Knowledge of creating content for virtual and augmented reality platforms.
