Job Description

The Agronomy Instructor will develop and deliver high-quality agronomy training programs to ensure students gain the necessary knowledge and skills in agronomy. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of agronomy principles, with a passion for teaching and engaging students in the learning process.

Responsibilities

  • Design engaging agronomy curricula that meet academic standards.
  • Facilitate online and in-person learning environments.
  • Mentor students in research projects related to agriculture.
  • Integrate technology into teaching methods to enhance learning.
  • Organise field trips and practical sessions to apply theoretical knowledge.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessments.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agronomy or related field
  • Teaching certification or relevant teaching experience
Experience
  • Prior experience in agronomy or a related field is required, preferably with teaching or training experience.
Technical Skills
  • Strong knowledge of agronomy principles and practices
  • Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
  • Microsoft Office Suite
