Job Description

The Auditing Clerk will provide critical support to the auditing department by maintaining accurate financial records, verifying transactions, and ensuring compliance with established policies. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong analytical skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the finance team to streamline auditing processes.
  • Ensure accuracy of reports by conducting periodic checks.
  • Assist with the preparation of tax filings.
  • Provide insights for process improvement based on audit findings.
  • Stay updated with best practices in auditing and accounting.
  • Liaise with external auditors as needed.
  • Contribute to team meetings and discussions.
  • Support the implementation of financial software.
  • Participate in cross-departmental projects as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Relevant professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA
Experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in accounting or auditing roles
Technical Skills
  • QuickBooks
  • SAP and Oracle Financials
Soft Skills
  • Team collaboration

Certifications
  • ACCA or CIMA qualifications
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous
