Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (Staff CRNA) to join our medical team. As a Staff CRNA, you will be responsible for administering anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures and ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.

Responsibilities

  • Administer anaesthetic and monitor patient vital signs throughout surgical procedures.
  • Develop and implement patient-specific anesthesia care plans.
  • Work with medical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Document all anesthesia-related activities accurately.
  • Participate in ongoing education to stay current with anesthesia practices.
  • Assist in the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements for anesthesia delivery systems.
  • Educate patients and family members regarding anesthesia care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines.

Requirements

Education
  • Valid registration as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with NMC
  • Postgraduate qualification in Anesthesia or equivalent
Experience
  • Prior experience as a CRNA in a surgical or trauma environment is preferred.
