As a Woodworking Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender, you will be responsible for setting up and operating woodworking machinery. Your expertise will help produce precision wooden parts for various projects, ensuring high quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and troubleshoot woodworking machines to produce high-quality components.
Adjust machine settings to achieve optimal performance and product quality.
Conduct inspections and testing of finished products throughout the manufacturing process.
Perform regular maintenance on machinery to prevent breakdowns.
Work with engineering to implement improvements in production processes.
Assist in training new operators on machine operation.
Maintain inventory of raw materials used in production.
Assist in developing new production techniques for enhanced efficiency.
Record all machine operations and maintenance activities.
Support other departments as required for cross-functional projects.
Requirements
Education
Relevant vocational training in woodworking or machinery operation.
Experience
At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
