Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fancy Needleworker to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will craft intricate and beautifully designed needlework pieces using a variety of techniques. Attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for needlework are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Craft a variety of needlework designs using advanced techniques.
• Collaborate closely with the design team to align on project goals.
• Operate and maintain embroidery machines and tools effectively.
• Choose suitable threads and materials for each piece.
• Maintain standards of quality control throughout the embroidery process.
• Keep detailed records of projects and client specifications.
• Attend design meetings to brainstorm ideas for new pieces.
• Ensure timely completion of tasks while adhering to quality standards.
• Engage with clients for custom order requests.
• Develop pattern designs and assist in team training as needed.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Advanced diploma in Fashion Design or Textiles is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years experience in fancy needlework, preferably in a professional setting

Technical Skills

• Embroidery Machines Operation
• Design Software

Soft Skills

• Collaborative Spirit

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Portfolio showcasing past work: Submission of a portfolio demonstrating a range of needlework projects is preferred.
• Experience in textile restoration: Skills in repairing and restoring vintage needlework pieces will be beneficial.
