Congregational Care Pastor

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Congregational Care Pastor. This role involves providing spiritual guidance, counselling, and support to our congregation. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, empathy, and a strong commitment to pastoral care.

Responsibilities

• Offer spiritual guidance and mentorship to congregants.
• Conduct counselling sessions for individuals facing crises.
• Plan and lead workshops on spiritual growth and community engagement.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and care actions taken.
• Facilitate training sessions for volunteers involved in care ministry.

Requirements

Education

• Ordination or qualification as a minister/pastor
• Bachelor's degree in theology, pastoral counselling, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in pastoral care, counselling, or a related field.

Technical Skills

• Microsoft Office Suite
• Church management software

Certifications

• Certification or training in counselling or pastoral care

Languages

• English: Fluent
