Job Description

We are seeking a Residence Director to oversee the management and operations of a student residence facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe and inclusive living environment for residents, coordinating staff schedules, and promoting community engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee conflict resolution and mediation between residents.
  • Facilitate community-building activities to promote student engagement.
  • Implement strategies to enhance resident retention and satisfaction.
  • Provide emergency response and crisis management when necessary.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure facility standards are maintained.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., education, counseling, hospitality)
  • First Aid and CPR certification is essential
Experience
  • Previous experience in student accommodation or residential life preferred.
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and well-being practices
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations
