Cost Accountant

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Cost Accountant to join our finance team in Cardiff. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing cost reports, analysing product costs, and recommending cost-saving strategies. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Generate detailed cost reports and present findings.
• Monitor and analyse factors impacting cost efficiency.
• Work alongside internal teams to provide financial insights.
• Help in the development of financial models for new projects.
• Review existing cost structures and suggest improvements.
• Assist in regulatory compliance for financial reporting.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cost accounting or management accounting
