Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Certified Sheriff to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing various tasks efficiently while working under pressure. Your role will involve patrolling designated areas, responding to emergencies, and assisting with investigations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular patrols to deter and detect criminal activity.
  • Engage with members of the community to foster positive relationships.
  • Respond promptly to incidents and calls for assistance.
  • Document all activities, incidents, and investigations thoroughly.
  • Assist with traffic control and accident investigations.
  • Participate in special operations or task forces as assigned.
  • Collaborate with local agencies on joint investigations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws and legal procedures.
  • Provide testimony in court regarding cases handled.
  • Remain vigilant and adaptable in high-pressure situations.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in law enforcement
