Public Health Officer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Public Health Officer to join our team in Bradford, where your expertise in public health will drive initiatives focused on disease prevention and health education. You will work alongside local agencies to develop programs that address social determinants of health and ensure that community members have access to necessary services.

Responsibilities

• Lead community outreach efforts to foster public engagement.
• Assess and analyse public health data to identify emerging health issues.
• Develop educational materials to support public health campaigns.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement health strategies.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for community health workers.
• Evaluate the impact of public health policies and programs.
• Provide technical assistance and support to local health initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field
• Master's degree in Public Health is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in public health or community health
