We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join our Birmingham office. The successful candidate will provide expert legal advice, manage contract negotiations, and ensure compliance with all legal regulations. Responsibilities

• Lead contract negotiations with clients and vendors.
• Provide strategic advice to mitigate legal risks.
• Assist in corporate governance matters.
• Prepare and maintain reports on legal compliance.
• Interface with regulatory bodies as required.
• Participate in cross-departmental teamwork on legal matters.

Requirements

Education

• Qualified Solicitor or Barrister
• MBL or equivalent advanced legal qualification is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of post-qualification experience in a relevant area.

Certifications

• CILEx Level 6 in Legal Practice

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Mergers and Acquisitions: Past experience advising on M&A transactions.
• Fluency in another language: Additional language skills are a plus.
