Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our exceptional healthcare team. The Phlebotomist will be responsible for collecting blood samples and ensuring accuracy in processing, while providing excellent care to our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Collect blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary collection techniques.
  • Accurately complete patient documentation and specimen labeling.
  • Transport specimens to the laboratory in accordance with safety regulations.
  • Educate patients on the collection process and address any concerns.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols during specimen collection.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Monitor and maintain phlebotomy equipment and supplies.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Phlebotomy certification from a recognized institution
  • BLS certification
Experience
  • Familiarity with medical laboratory procedures and practices.
Technical Skills
  • Excellent phlebotomy techniques

Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Additional certifications in specialized techniques: Certification in advanced phlebotomy or related specializations.
