Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our exceptional healthcare team. The Phlebotomist will be responsible for collecting blood samples and ensuring accuracy in processing, while providing excellent care to our patients.
Responsibilities
Collect blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary collection techniques.
Accurately complete patient documentation and specimen labeling.
Transport specimens to the laboratory in accordance with safety regulations.
Educate patients on the collection process and address any concerns.
Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols during specimen collection.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Monitor and maintain phlebotomy equipment and supplies.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Phlebotomy certification from a recognized institution
BLS certification
Experience
Familiarity with medical laboratory procedures and practices.
