Job Description

We are seeking a highly dedicated Academic Interventionist to join our educational institution. In this pivotal role, you will provide targeted support to students needing additional assistance to progress, ensuring everyone has equal opportunities to succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct student assessments to identify areas for improvement and support.
  • Collaborate with educators to develop interdisciplinary intervention approaches.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to teaching staff on effective intervention strategies.
  • Maintain a positive rapport with students to encourage engagement in their learning.
  • Track and report on student progress to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate group interventions to promote teamwork and collaboration.
  • Develop supplementary materials and resources to support intervention plans.
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives aimed at improving student success rates.
  • Foster an inclusive classroom environment that respects diversity.
  • Work closely with special education coordinators to align intervention efforts.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Education or related field preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in special education or academic intervention roles
