Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Veterinary Surgeon to join our clinic in Aberdeen. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will provide high-quality medical care to a diverse range of animals. You will perform surgeries, conduct examinations, and implement treatment plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a commitment to continued professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions.
  • Perform dental procedures and surgeries.
  • Administer anaesthesia and monitor pets post-surgery.
  • Communicate effectively with pet owners and staff.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of treatments.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development.
  • Assist in the training of interns and new staff members.
  • Contribute to the clinic’s quality improvement initiatives.
  • Support the pharmacy department in managing medications.
  • Attend veterinary conferences as a representative of the clinic.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
  • Specialisation in Surgery preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of veterinary experience preferred
