Job Description

We're on the lookout for a passionate Veterinary Technologist to join our dedicated team. As a vital part of our clinic, you will provide exceptional care to animals and assist veterinarians during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.

Responsibilities

  • Support veterinarians in daily operations and procedures.
  • Conduct laboratory tests, including diagnostics for diseases.
  • Administer treatments and therapies as per veterinary orders.
  • Educate clients on preventative care and health maintenance for their pets.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and hygiene standards within the clinic.
  • Handle and restrain animals safely during examinations.
  • Assist in surgical procedures and postoperative care.
  • Help with filing of records and managing patient data.
  • Engage in professional development and skill enhancement activities.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive working culture.

Requirements

Education
  • Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) qualification
  • Completion of a recognised Veterinary Technician programme
Experience
  • Prior experience in a veterinary setting preferred.
