Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Food Science Analyst to join our team in Llanelli. The successful candidate will play a critical role in investigating food quality, safety, and innovations in food technology. You will conduct research, analyse data, and contribute to product development while ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Utilise analytical methods to assess food safety and quality.
• Contribute to research papers and publications on food science topics.
• Support the quality assurance team in maintaining certifications.
• Engage with stakeholders to promote best practices in food safety.
• Conduct workshops and presentations on new technologies and processes.
• Review and update food safety documentation regularly.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline
• PhD in Food Science or related field is an advantage

Experience

• 5 years of relevant experience in a laboratory or R&D environment

• FSSC 22000 Certification
