We are seeking a qualified Appraiser of Personal and Business Property to join our prestigious team in London. In this role, you will leverage your extensive knowledge of gemstones and precious materials to assess their quality and value, provide expert advice to clients, and collaborate with jewelry designers to create stunning pieces.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of gemstones using specialized equipment.
• Collaborate with the sales team to provide expert advice on gemstone purchases.
• Prepare detailed appraisal reports for clients.
• Evaluate and select gemstones for our exclusive jewelry collections.
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance appraisal skills.
• Participate in industry events and networking opportunities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Gemology
• Additional courses in jewelry design are advantageous

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Expert Knowledge of Gemstones
• Gemological Equipment Usage

Soft Skills

• Client Management
• Team Collaboration

Advantageous

• Fluency in Multiple Languages: Ability to communicate fluently in French, German, or Italian is a plus.
• Experience with Rare Gemstones: Experience in appraising rare and exotic gemstones is highly desirable.
