Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Environmental Engineer to join our St Albans team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing and implementing strategies to enhance environmental sustainability and compliance. You will work collaboratively on projects that tackle climate change, promote renewable energy, and improve waste management practices, contributing positively to our local and global communities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage environmental projects from conception through completion.
  • Provide expert advice on compliance with environmental legislation.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of environmental programmes and policies.
  • Prepare presentations for stakeholders on project outcomes.
  • Conduct training sessions for employees on sustainability practices.
  • Collaborate with engineers and scientists on interdisciplinary projects.
  • Develop strategies to reduce carbon footprint and enhance sustainability.
  • Keep updated on environmental regulations and industry trends.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
  • Postgraduate qualification in environmental management is advantageous
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in an environmental consulting role
