Job Description

As an Erosion Control Coordinator, you will oversee erosion control practices and procedures for construction sites and land development projects. Your role will be critical in ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and best practices to prevent soil erosion and protect water quality.

Responsibilities

• Create effective erosion control plans for construction projects.
• Supervise erosion control measure implementation.
• Perform inspections and assess compliance with regulations.
• Work closely with contractors to ensure best practices are applied.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geography, or a related field
• Professional certifications in related fields are preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of project management experience in erosion control or natural resource management.

Technical Skills

• GIS software knowledge (e.g., ArcGIS)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with project management software
