Environmental Field Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an Environmental Field Technician to join our dedicated team in Newton Abbot. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in conducting field studies, collecting samples, and analysing data related to environmental impact assessments. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to sustainability initiatives and work closely with clients on various ecological projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ecological surveys and assess habitat conditions.
• Support the preparation of technical reports and proposals.
• Ensure proper sampling techniques are used in the field.
• Maintain equipment and manage inventory for field operations.
• Facilitate workshops and training on environmental topics.
• Contribute to grant applications for environmental projects.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
• Postgraduate qualifications in environmental science are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar role
