Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our dynamic team. You'll be responsible for reading assembly instructions, collaborating with colleagues, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Responsibilities
Interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Ensure that all components meet quality specifications.
Utilize hand tools and machinery to carry out assembly tasks.
Work as part of a team to improve efficiency and productivity.
Monitor production processes and identify areas for improvement.
Train new team members in assembly procedures and safety protocols.
Conduct maintenance on tools and equipment as needed.
Participate in regular team meetings to discuss project progress.
Maintain inventory of materials needed for assembly tasks.
Participate in safety audits and help create a safe workplace.
Requirements
Education
Relevant vocational training or NVQ Level 2 qualification
Experience
Prior experience in a regulated manufacturing environment is preferred.
Technical Skills
Knowledge of precision measurement tools
Basic knowledge of assembly software and tools
