Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our dynamic team. You'll be responsible for reading assembly instructions, collaborating with colleagues, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Ensure that all components meet quality specifications.
  • Utilize hand tools and machinery to carry out assembly tasks.
  • Work as part of a team to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor production processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Train new team members in assembly procedures and safety protocols.
  • Conduct maintenance on tools and equipment as needed.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss project progress.
  • Maintain inventory of materials needed for assembly tasks.
  • Participate in safety audits and help create a safe workplace.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant vocational training or NVQ Level 2 qualification
Experience
  • Prior experience in a regulated manufacturing environment is preferred.
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of precision measurement tools
  • Basic knowledge of assembly software and tools

Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment: Understanding of compliance and quality assurance processes.
  • Familiarity with CAD software: Basic experience with Computer-Aided Design software for technical drawings.
