Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Chaser to join our dynamic team. As a Material Chaser, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient movement of materials within our facility, coordinating deliveries, managing inventory, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with production to identify material needs and arrange timely deliveries.
• Track and report on inventory levels, making timely orders.
• Conduct quality checks of incoming supplies and report issues.
• Ensure all records are kept compliant and up to date.
• Resolve delivery issues with suppliers swiftly.
• Arrange materials in warehouse for easy access.
• Monitor and document the condition of materials received.
• Contribute to monthly inventories and stock assessments.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Take on additional tasks as required by management.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Any relevant certifications in logistics or supply chain management are beneficial

Experience

• Minimum of 1-2 years in a related role within manufacturing or supply chain management.

Technical Skills

• Material handling equipment operation
• Supply chain processes

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Teamwork

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations: Familiarity with workplace safety standards for material handling.
• Previous experience in an inventory control role: Hands-on experience managing inventory within a manufacturing environment.
