Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Public Health Officer in Manchester to spearhead community health initiatives. Your role will involve monitoring health trends, facilitating community engagement, and collaborating with local organizations to promote a healthier population.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and report on health trends and issues within the community.
  • Lead health promotion campaigns to educate the public.
  • Work with healthcare providers to enhance service delivery.
  • Organise community events to raise awareness on public health topics.
  • Advise on regulatory compliance and health policies.
  • Create informational materials to assist in community education.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions on health topics.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field
  • Master's degree in Public Health is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in public health or community health roles
