Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Locomotive Oiler to join our maintenance team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our locomotives by performing essential lubrication and maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will be meticulous, dedicated, and ready to tackle the challenges of railway machinery.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine lubrication of engines and components, ensuring equipment is maintained to operational standards.
  • Maintain records of lubricants used and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Assist engineers with machinery checks and reporting defects.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas and tools.
  • Participate in company training and development sessions.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations while working.
  • Report any irregularities in locomotive performance promptly.
  • Assist in the preparation of maintenance budgets and schedules.
  • Stay informed about new lubrication technologies and best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • 2+ years' relevant experience is advantageous.
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of Lubrication Software

Advantageous
