Job Description

As a Motion Picture Projectionist, you will play a crucial role in delivering engaging cinematic experiences. Your primary responsibility will be to operate projection equipment, ensuring films are presented at the highest quality.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate projection equipment for diverse film formats and settings.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the projection area.
• Participate in training sessions for further skill development.
• Support ad-hoc projects including film festivals and community events.
• Engage with filmmakers and producers for special presentations.
• Assist in the configuration of digital signage for promotional content.
• Provide insights on audience preferences to enhance programming.
• Aid in film archiving processes as required.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Film Production or related field is preferred
• Technical certification can substitute for degree

Experience

• Preferred 3+ years of experience in motion picture projection
