Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Logging Worker to join our forestry team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating skidding equipment and safely moving logs from the cutting site to the loading area. Physical strength and expertise in timber operations are essential.

Responsibilities

• Transport logs safely using skidding techniques.
• Ensure sorting and stacking of logs based on specifications.
• Conduct safety checks on all equipment before use.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate logging activities.
• Respond quickly to any unforeseen equipment issues.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 3+ years experience in logging operations preferred.

Technical Skills

• Heavy Machinery Operation
• GPS Systems

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• Forestry Certification (preferred)

Languages

• English: Fluent
